For other schools in India, these exams will be conducted from January 1, 2026.
Appearance in practical exams is mandatory.
According to the official CBSE notification, all candidates must appear in practical exams. Students who fail to appear in practical exams will be disqualified from passing Classes 10 and 12. Results for these students will also not be released. Therefore, all students are advised to participate in practical examinations.
CBSE's Important Guidelines
To ensure the smooth conduct of board examinations, CBSE has issued necessary guidelines for schools, which are as follows.
According to CBSE, only students whose names have been submitted to CBSE through LOC will be accepted for board examinations.
Also, when uploading students' marks, teachers must ensure that only correct marks are uploaded. As the Board will not provide an opportunity to upload marks again.
CBSE has also clarified that if more than 30 students are enrolled in a subject, schools should examine two to three sessions.
Internal assessment for Class 10 and practical exams for Class 12 will be conducted only once.
All schools have been instructed to begin uploading marks as soon as practical exams begin, so that this work can be completed within the stipulated time.
