Donald and Melania Trump kept William and Kate waiting during the first full day of his second state visit.
The President and his wife had been due to meet William and Kate at 12pm but are late. Trump and Melania are set to be welcomed by the Prince and Princess of Wales in the Walled Garden area of the Windsor estate.
Trump's Marine One helicopter was seen hovering above the garden's lawn at about 12:10pm, abut 15 minutes later than originally planned. When the couple finally lands they will be greeted by Catherine and William as they disembark.

They will accompany the president and First Lady a short distance where they will meet King Charles and Queen Camilla. The first meeting will happen outside Victoria House and will officially kick off the second state visit.
Windsor Castle will serve as the first stage of the royal charm offensive with members of the family wanting to present a personal touch for the president.
The visit will include carriage procession through the Windsor estate toward the castle. Eighty soldiers from the House Cavalry Mounted Regiment formed the Sovereign’s Escort travelling with the carriages, with the Life Guards dressed in their red tunics and white plumed helmets and Blues and Royals in their blue tunics and red plumes.

The processional route, which was not open to the public, was lined by 22 half-companies of personnel from throughout the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force.
Making their way to the castle, the Trumps are expected to pass not far from Frogmore House, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had their evening wedding reception, and also close to Frogmore Cottage, briefly home to Harry and Meghan before they quit the working monarchy and moved to America.
The RAF's Red Arrows are also set to soar over Windsor Castle later today as part of all the stops being rolled out in a bid to impress Trump. The second state visit will include an itinerary of pomp and ceremony, including royal banquets and reception and a getaway to Sir Keir Starmer's country estate at Chequers.
