Send Push

Fornitemares 2025 is about to kick off, and even before the update set to usher in the spooky season, leakers have been unveiling a massive array of cosmetics heading to the game.

Fortnite has been churning out loads of content recently, but it clearly isn't showing any signs of slowing down. Despite the introduction of the Dino Megazord in update 37.30 and the Daft Punk Experience in update 37.31 providing players with plenty to dive into, we're naturally progressing towards something larger as the spooky season approaches. That's right, Fortnitemares 2025 is coming.

The atmospheric event that engulfs the game for a couple of months fully embraces Halloween, often reintroducing the PvE mode Horde Rush mode and delivering a vast array of cosmetics that capitalise on collaborations from across film, TV and pop culture to bring a host of Horror icons.

This year seems to be no different, as even though we haven't seen any official reveals for Fortnitemares 2025 so far, leakers are already reporting some major crossovers for the event, some that have been lurking in the files for some time, and some new reveals that mirror some major horror films. So, what's on the horizon?

Here's what you need to know about the Fortnitemares 2025 skins that are en route.

Fortnitemares 2025 skins

According to numerous claims from leakers, corroborated by

and , the following crossovers are anticipated for the Fortnitemares 2025 skins:

  • The Huntr/x girls from K-Pop Demon Hunters
  • Doja Cat (no, we're not sure why either, but we'll take it)
  • Ghostface from Scream
  • Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th
  • The core cast of characters from from Scooby-Doo
  • Art the Clown from Terrifier
  • The player characters from R.E.P.O
  • Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime
  • The Grabber from The Black Phone

Alongside these, a number of original skins will be introduced, including new characters and twisted new versions of the Black Knight and Peely, plus remixes of Lucien, Joni and Helsie in the High Stakes Halloween Pack.

The post from Hypex is illuminating when it comes to getting a look at some of the newer original skins, even if its claim of "27+ skins" being on the way is a bit of a stretch. They of course feature the OG Season 6 lineup as part of the roster, and we can't be sure how many Scooby-Doo characters will be appearing in its respective bundle – but either way, it's a good look at the cosmetics we'll be seeing over the next few months, even if we can expect more cosmetics to roll out over the next couple of months.

We can also anticipate the return of several other Fortnitemares skins, including Edward Scissorhands, Billy The Puppet, Ash Williams and more. If you've missed a spooky-themed character in the past, you're likely to have a new opportunity to pick them up during this year's event.

There's plenty to dive into, especially as these skins will join the game alongside the K-Pop themed revamp of the classic Horde Mode, and presumably, loads of new features to come too. It's an exciting time to be heavily invested in the Fortnite cosmetic ecosystem. Prepare to part with a lot of V-Bucks.
