Good Morning Britain has sparked outrage over a Prince Harry detail as fans fumed "give it a rest".

During Wednesday's (September 10) episode of the hit ITV programme, Susanna Reid and Ed Balls delivered the latest news from across the UK and around the world.

They discussed Prince Harry's recent donation of £1.1 million to a Children in Need project, with the show later posting a poll on X (formerly Twitter ).

It read: "Prince Harry has made a personal donation of £1.1m to a UK children's charity. Harry said he hoped it would help 'changemakers in the city continue their mission to create safe spaces', but critics are calling it a charm offensive. Do you think this donation is genuine?"

However, GMB viewers were left frustrated by the poll and the discussion of Prince Harry, with many sharing their anger in the comments section.

"Give it a rest," one person wrote, with another adding: "Give him a break. Good on him for doing it."

A third said: "Do most people hand over £1.1m disingenuously? What an absolutely ridiculous question. Are you alright?" while another similarly shared: "FFS! Have you all lost the plot?"
