Though still in its early stages, Kinetic Games is diligently working on Phasmophobia to ensure a steady stream of new content, including a small map set to be released later this year.
Kinetic Games has grand plans for Phasmophobia this year, with the game's PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release attracting a significant number of players eager for more content. Not to mention, there's a film adaptation in the pipeline, making it an opportune time to capitalise on the game's popularity.
Thankfully, Kinetic Games is delivering on the promises made in the Phasmophobia 2025 roadmap, with the Bleasdale Farmhouse Rework and a revamp of the Journal and evidence gathering system as part of June's Chronicle Update, which was launched with a few minor issues that were promptly rectified.
We also saw the game's first-ever Twitch Drops campaign, allowing players to earn two versions of the new ID Badge, and we have a new one to look forward to alongside the Phasmophobia Grafton Farmhouse Rework, which finally has a release date.
The revamped map is set to be released on Tuesday, August 12, sometime between 1am PDT / 4am EDT / 10am BST and 5am PDT / 8am EDT / 1pm BST. While we don't have a specific time for the update, this is typically when Kinetic Games releases major updates (via SteamDB). For instance, the Chronicle update went live at 11am UTC, which is 4am PDT / 7am EDT / 12pm BST.
Regarding the new small map, it's been unveiled as Nell's Diner, and as somebody who adores small Phasmophobia maps (plus the 1950s diner vibe), I'm absolutely buzzing to dive in once it launches. We haven't got a release date yet, with Kinetic stating it's "later this year". Kinetic Games director, and lead Phasmo developer, Daniel Knight, says:.
"Nell's Diner, alongside the Farmhouse reworks, are all so central to our efforts in amplifying the horror in Phasmophobia, and I can't wait for our community to experience it for themselves.
"Our incredible art team have worked tirelessly on the upcoming content, and the Diner map in particular is one of the most unique maps we've added yet. We don't want to spoil anything, but just know there are plenty of surprises to look forward to."
There'll be 13 Unique Rooms (11 of which could be the ghost rooms), interactable objects, hidey holes, and plenty of looping spots. However, returning to the Phasmophobia Grafton Farmhouse Rework update – here's what's coming.

Phasmophobia Grafton Farmhouse Rework explainedIf you haven't yet explored Grafton Farmhouse in Phasmophobia, it's a wooden cabin featuring a straightforward layout, with largely roomy spaces throughout. That said, the genuine fright factor lies in the grimy, revolting bathrooms which I reckon we can't entirely pin on some paranormal presence. Sort yourselves out, folks.
The Grafton Farmhouse Rework is set to bring about major changes, transforming this charming cabin into a run-down death trap. Anticipate "faulty electrics, caved-in ceilings and layers of dust" along with newly-themed rooms such as an "an eerie attic" and "harrowing seamstress room."
