It is claimed the incident lasted over an hour and eyewitnesses allege the same woman also drove around the rec in the vehicle. PCSOs were in attendance before officers were called to the scene.
One mum told StokeonTrentLive: "She was on the top of her car shouting obscenities and dancing. She refused to come down so took her top off. PCSOs waited for a police officer to come. She then drove around the rec in her car right next to the play area."
Another added on social media: "She was dancing and twerking very inappropriately in front of young children. Mums were having to cover up their children's eyes with their hands. The PCSOs practically rugby tackled her off stage and everyone cheered as she walked away."
