Authorities continued their search for evidence on Monday (June 2) after a man with a makeshift flamethrower yelled "Free Palestine" and hurled an incendiary device into a group which had gathered in support of Israeli hostages in Gaza.
Four men and four women were injured in the attack, with police describing the injuries as ranging from "very serious" to "minor". The victims' ages range between 52 and 88.
Suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, has been detained at Boulder County jail. He faces a number of charges, including two counts of murder.
The FBI has been investigating what happened as a terrorist act. Court records show Mr Soliman was due to appear in court in Boulder at 1.30pm local time (8.30pm BST) today.
Officials said on Sunday that they believe Mr Soliman acted alone and no one else was being sought. Mr Soliam was injured during the incident and taken to hospital.

Mr Soliman was living in the US illegally, having entered the country in August 2022 on a B2 visa, which expired in February 2023, according to Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
She said in a post on X that Mr Soliman filed for asylum in September 2022 and was granted a work permit in March 2023 which had also expired.
Public records listed Mr Soliman as living in a rented townhouse in Colorado Springs. Local media outlets reported that federal law enforcement agents visited the property on Sunday.
An online CV under Mr Soliman's name said he was employed by a health care company in the Denver area, working in accounting and inventory control. Former employers listed include companies in Egypt.
Under education, the CV listed Al-Azhar University, a historic centre for Islamic and Arabic studies in Cairo.
