Ground Force's Charlie Dimmock once revealed she had no regrets over an affair with a co-star that resulted in her split from long-term partner.
The star - who found fame alongside Alan Titchmarsh and Tommy Walsh on the BBC show - had been with partner John Mushet since they met travelling in the 90s.
However, in 2001 they broke up after Charlie had a short relationship with a microphone operator working on Ground Force.
But the gardening expert later told the Daily Mail: "I don't regret what happened. You wouldn't do anything if you kept worrying about what might go wrong."
She also shared: "I've discovered that the most difficult after-effect of the break-up is getting into another relationship," said Charlie."
In 2014, Charlie - who was a member of the team on Ground Force from 1997 to 2005 - shared that she was unattached.
Then in 2016 she told the Irish Independent that she was "way past marriage" stating: "I'm going to be 50 this year."
"Even sharing a house with someone would be a no from me."
She added: "I like my own company. I like to do what I want to do, I'm very selfish like that. I don't mind fitting in a bit, but I like to be able to get away and have the house to myself."
Now 59, Charlie has kept her love life to herself in recent years and it isn't known whether she is currently dating anyone. However, last year she hinted that she was single when she went on her old co-star's show, Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh.
As they chatted, she shared: "The older I get, the happier I get being on my own."
Charlie has remained a recognisable figure in the horticultural sphere for decades, having first appeared on television in 1997 with Ground Force.
The programme continued until 2005, with Charlie withdrawing from the spotlight following the devastating loss of her mother and stepfather in Thailand's tsunami disaster in 2004.
She made her comeback to TV in 2016 with BBC's Garden Rescue, which became a daytime television success.
