Jet2 adds 3 new destinations for 2026 including beautiful 'unspoilt Greek island'

Jet2 has added three new destinations for summer 2026 that also includes a gorgeous "unspoilt Greek island". The popular airline company recently announced the holiday packages for three new destinations which will include ferry and transfers and it will operate from April 3 to October 30 next year

Meganisi is often called Greece's "best kept secret," even by locals, thanks to its untouched beauty and charm. Nestled in the Ionian Sea, this small island has remained largely off the tourist radar, preserving its traditional character and peaceful atmosphere.With quiet villages, scenic landscapes and a slower pace of life, Meganisi offers visitors a truly authentic Greek experience away from the crowds. Visitors can unwind on secluded beaches like Megalo Limonari and Fanari, which are often only reachable by boat or foot. The island's traditional villages-Spartochori, Vathy, and Katomeri-offer narrow lanes, cozy tavernas, and a laid-back atmosphere.

Meganisi doesn't have its own airport, so travellers typically fly into Aktion Airport in Preveza, which is close to Lefkada. From there, it's about an hour's drive to the port town of Nidri, where you can catch a ferry to the island.

During the summer, several major airlines-including Jet2, British Airways, and Ryanair-offer direct flights from the UK, making the journey both convenient and accessible for holidaymakers.
