Chinnaswamy Stadium was called off without a ball being bowled, as persistent rain made play impossible.
The washout proved to be a knockout blow for KKR, who were eliminated from the playoff race after being restricted to 12 points from 13 games. They became the fourth team to crash out, following Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
